Auto Scaling for Traffic Spikes

We implemented Kubernetes-based auto-scaling for FreeSWITCH, Kamalilio, and RTP Engine. Now, the app dynamically scales to efficiently manage high SIP signalling loads and ensure uninterrupted service even during peak app traffic hours.

Quota Management & Service Control

CONTUS Tech enabled dynamic quota limits and service controls by integrating CUS and WTD systems into the super app. This helps manage user allocations at scale while blocking service abuse to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Global Media Optimization

CONTUS Tech deployed a variety of RTP Engine modes across multiple regions to reduce user latency. Also, GPU enabled nodes to further better transcoding performance to deliver crystal clear voice quality for media-heavy interactions, no matter the location.

WebRTC & SIP Integration

A custom-built WebRTC library now connects SIP trunks & mobile apps via FreeSWITCH. This ensures real-time, low-latency App-to-phone calls with protocol translation by powering a smooth UX without any lags.

Centralized Call Monitoring & Insights

CONTUS Tech—with Graylog & Homer Integration—enabled all-time monitoring of VoIP and RTC traffic for operations, allowing complete visibility into call quality and SIP signalling and assessment of system

Scalable & Secure Call Handling

FreeSWITCH assists Verto to the SIP gateway, while Kamailio routes SIP traffic to the app. With RTP Engine’s SRTP <> RTP Translations, the media proxy services assure clear talks with maximum reliability.
